Building Financial Services Solutions with BizTalk

Audience: Application developers with 1-2 years of experience in developing enterprise scale applications. No prior BizTalk experience is required.
Description: This instructor-led course will provide the knowledge and skills required by developers who need to build BizTalk Server 2006 R2 integration solutions for financial services applications. Students will learn how to build messaging solutions for customers in banking, capital markets, payments, and corporate finance by using the Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT (A4SWIFT). Training content will include instructor-led presentation materials, classroom demonstrations, hands-on labs, and an electronic student workbook containing notes and links to additional online references.
At the course completion students will be able to:
- Identify financial services integration scenarios
- Explain how SWIFTnet enables secure messaging services
- Explain how BizTalk enables financial services applications
- Describe the components of the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT (A4SWIFT)
- Work with BizTalk Server project system
- Create and configure Schemas
- Import and install SWIFT-specific schemas
- Create schema maps
- Create an orchestration
- Process, filter, and route SWIFT messages
- Validate inbound and outbound SWIFT messages using pipelines
- Install and configure adapters to integrate with SWIFTNet
- Consume and publish Web services
- Process and validate SWIFT messages within an orchestration
- Install and configure business rules to validate SWIFT messages
- Manage and monitor SWIFT messaging transactions
- Configure an end-to-end financial services solution (Workshop)
