Building on the skills acquired in QuickLearn’s SharePoint 2007 Developer Immersion course, Deep Dive attendees are guaranteed to be challenged as they use advanced development techniques to build more complex SharePoint 2007 solutions.

Training content includes instructor-led presentation materials, classroom demonstrations, challenging hands-on labs, and an electronic workbook that contains notes and links to additional online resources. This class focuses primarily on WSS (Windows SharePoint Services) development which is equally applicable to MOSS site development. Some content is specific for MOSS implementations.

After course completion, students will be able to:

• Design and plan a SharePoint development project
• Implement authentication and security mechanisms
• Configure security policies, and permissions
• Configure and customize content and layouts
• Configure and modify sites using the SharePoint Designer
• Work with usage and analysis reports
• Integrate with external data sources and content types

• Create and deploy site features and deploy solutions packages
• Extend site functionality using the SharePoint Object Model
• Integrate with web services

• Build AJAX enabled pages
