This three-day instructor-led course teaches the skills required by .NET developers responsible for creating rich client applications using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). In this course, you will learn to develop powerful and compelling line-of-business applications.

At course completion, students will be able to:

• Describe the WPF object model and use of XAML
• Identify the services provided by WPF
• Work with Window and Application class types
• Explain the WPF control programming model
• Distinguish between Windows Forms and WPF
• Position controls using layout managers
• Apply graphical transformations
• Manage and utilize resource dictionaries
• Create, define, modify, and apply WPF styles
• Define animations in code and XAML
• Bind data to data sources programmatically and declaratively
• Create custom control templates
