This 5-day hands-on course teaches project managers and software development teams how to plan and develop projects using the Scrum framework and Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010.
Attendees will learn the fundamentals of the Scrum methodology and how to plan a project including release and sprint planning, how to apply the Scrum framework, and how to implement best design practices.
Student will also learn how-to implement Scrum in Visual Studio 2010 using a Scrum process template, implement best practices for finding, testing, fixing, validating, and closing a bug, as well as how-to apply Agile database techniques to support SQL Server.
This course is designed for all members of a software development team – architects, programmers, database developers, testers, etc. Entire teams are encouraged to attend and experience the course together as attendees will work in self-organizing and self-managing teams.
Student will also learn how-to implement Scrum in Visual Studio 2010 using a Scrum process template, implement best practices for finding, testing, fixing, validating, and closing a bug, as well as how-to apply Agile database techniques to support SQL Server.
At the end of the course, Students are invited to sit the Professional Scrum Developer (.NET) exam.
